God says ‘I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?’ Jeremiah 32:27. Let’s believe that he is more than capable of moving in impossible situations. Jesus also said that ‘with God all things are possible’ Matthew 19:26.

‘Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever’, Hebrews 13:8. Jesus is alive and working the same miracles today as in Bible times – this is a radical truth that, if we believe it and apply it in our hearts, it will increase our faith and our expectation. Jesus said ‘My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working’ John 5:17.

Nothing can stand against Jesus:

The name of Jesus is above every name – every illness, every fear, every addiction. ‘God exalted Jesus to the highest place, and gave him the name that is above every name’ Philippians 2:9. Jesus has authority over everything: ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me’ Matthew 28:18. Now he has delegated his authority to us, as ambassadors of the king.

Raise your Expectations:

Jesus said: ‘You will do what I have been doing, in fact you will do even greater things than these’ John 14:12. Jesus confidently expects us to do miraculous things and the only qualifying condition is that we believe in his almighty power at work through us.

William Carey, the Baptist minister, said ‘Attempt great things for God, expect great things from God’, so let’s expand our vision to believe for exciting things. ‘God can do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us’ Ephesians 3:20.
